SERVICES WE PROVIDE

The Animal Emergency Fund provides
adoption services, foster homes,
affordable rabies vaccinating,
low-cost spaying/neutering of domestic cats and dogs,
and a Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) Program
to humanely control the population
of feral cat colonies.

TNR has returned hundreds of sterile animals
to their colonies where they maintain their territory.
We believe this is the most humane solution
to the problem of overpopulation resulting from abandoned cats.
Once the feral cat is spayed or neutered,
it is given a rabies vaccination, the left ear is tipped,
and it is RETURNED to where it was trapped,
its territory, its colony, its "home".
The reason for ear tipping
is so if it gets into one of our traps again,
we know it's been sterilized and vaccinated and
it is encouraged to leave the trap.

We have also assisted in providing
emergency care for injured or seriously ill
cats and dogs.

All spaying and neutering services
require a rabies vaccination if the animal hasn't been vaccinated.
The amounts below are our requested donations
for healthy animals of average weight and size.
Of course, we rely on the generosity of those
who can afford more in order to help
those whose need is greater.
  • CAT Spay (female) - $35.00
  • CAT Neuter (male) - $25.00
  • DOG Spay (female) - $55.00
  • DOG Neuter (male) - $45.00
All donations are tax deductible! To make arrangements to have an animal spayed or neutered, for assistance with feral cat control, or to make a donation please see our Contact page.
