HISTORY

The Animal Emergency Fund was
founded by Marie Post and Barbara Patrick
and incorporated as a tax exempt
501(c)(3) organization in 1999.

Marie, as a veterninary assistant,
saw on a daily basis
the need for low-cost spaying and neutering
assistance that existed in the Ulster County Area.

The Animal Emergency Fund provides
adoption services, foster homes,
affordable rabies vaccinating,
low-cost spaying/neutering of domestic cats and dogs,
and a Trap, Neuter, Return (TNR) Program
to humanely control the population
of feral cat colonies.
Spayed or neutered dogs and cats
live longer, healthier lives,
make better, happier pets
and are less likely to stray, wander,
or get into trouble.

Please help us promote
the spaying and neutering of pets by
Making a Donation
of money, time or supplies.
